Stephen: "I'll do or say anything if I believe in it, but I have to believe in the cause."
All the while i thought it was going to be one of those highly intellectual boring movies, as this is usually the case when a theater play is adapted to fit the big screen. I couldn't be any happier I was proven wrong. It's hard to place the story under a particular category, say it's about American politics or the elections or democrats v. republicans, because it addresses issues that are rather universal ---like how the world often changes us, how it forces us to think twice about beliefs we've once defended and adamantly stood for and how the choices we make ultimately reveal to us the kind of people we really are. O: I don't know how to properly explain it!!! Basta, I like it! Hehe. Plus the way Ryan Gosling cleaned up for it, so far from the total dick look he sported in Blue Valentine! d:
